| Content | Anti-D, also known as Rh(D) immune globulin or Rho(D) immune globulin, is a medication used to prevent hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN) in infants with Rh-negative mothers.
Anti-D is typically administered to Rh-negative mothers during pregnancy and within 72 hours after delivery, miscarriage, or abortion.
