Closely woven gauze is best for extra strength or greater protection, while open or loose weave is better for absorbency or drainage | Ampicillin is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It is a penicillin-type antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections.
